Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the richest and most famous Reggae singers was born on Friday, 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. In the cult film of the same name Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, including Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. All of them contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the new generation of reggae singers. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell of Fugees to perform Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley appeared in Midem (international musical showcase) during its time in Miami at the beginning of its run.
